Alan has been working in the Incentive Travel industry since 1996. Before joining Spectra in 2009 with his European team, he held several managerial positions both in London and internationally. At Spectra, Alan is responsible for new business development and for managing relationships with key clients across Europe and North America. He is also a long-standing member of SITE .

Alan has played a significant role in generating interest in some of the UK’s lesser-known MICE destinations, including Brighton, Sussex, Liverpool, Manchester, Windsor, and the Cotswolds.

Outside of tourism, Alan is an accomplished musician and songwriter. In his earlier years, he was the lead singer and bassist of the cult band Al Ross & The Planets, with whom he toured internationally and recorded two critically acclaimed albums at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios. While he still enjoys great music, he has left the rock and roll lifestyle behind to focus on expanding the Spectra brand globally.
