Edinburgh International Festival 2017

Last Friday saw the start of the Edinburgh International Festival (Edinburgh Festival Fringe, International Book Festival, Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo). New £56 million V&A Exhibition Road Quarter opened

The new V&A Exhibition Road Quarter was opened on 30 June 2017 by the Duchess of Cambridge. A new entrance, purpose-built gallery and the first porcelain-tiled public courtyard in the world cost over £56 million to complete. Accessed through the remodelled arches of the Aston Webb screen, the new entrance opens the museum up to Exhibition Road and creates a new relationship between the museum and the street, transforming the Quarter into an urban as well as a cultural project.more

We are extremely proud and excited to announce that Wendy has been awarded “Personality of the Year” at last night’s prestigious M&IT annual awards dinner. The award, recognizes Wendy for her tireless campaigning on behalf of the Brain Tumour Research Campaign, the charity she founded in 2004 in memory of her husband John. For many years a leading figure in the meetings and incentive industry and former Global President of SITE, Wendy’s charitable work has to date raised over £2m which supports research projects at Imperial College London’s Charing Cross Hospital, recently established as a “Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence”. more

Qantas to launch London - Perth non stop flights

Jimi Hendrix'a London flat opens to visitors

Shakespeare's Globe celebrates the Bard's 400th anniversary
